Chronic headaches and migraines

I asked my younger son Alex to do an illustration depicting a horrible headache and this is what he gave me.

This is Sun Wùkung, the Monkey King, one of the protectors of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang on his pilgrimage to India to obtain the Buddhist sutras as told in the classical tale Journey to the West. The Monkey King is a naughty and unruly servant and Xuanzang can only discipline him by chanting a mantra that would shrink the permanent gold band placed around his head, causing an excruciating headache. Alex is an illustrator and filmmaker. He will soon graduate from the film program at Columbia College. Somehow in his budding career he has already won a Peabody Award.
